Tom was a cornerstone of his community, serving as the President of the Algonquin Regional High School Athletic Booster Club. He approached this role with unwavering dedication and seriousness, significantly enhancing the Boosters’ impact through his commitment.

His passion for mentoring young athletes and fostering their love for sports was unmatched. He was a tireless advocate for the new Algonquin Athletic complex, spearheading fundraising efforts, implementing new processes, and revamping the Boosters’ website. His contributions were numerous and impactful. However, his true love was coaching. Tom was dedicated to helping children learn new skills, gain confidence, and most importantly, understand the values of teamwork, perseverance, and integrity. He was always so proud seeing the student athletes develop throughout the years and inspired countless children with his enthusiasm, patience, and commitment. Tom believed in giving every child the opportunity to play sports and this memorial fund will support that goal and more, ensuring his spirit lives on.

The Booster Club is composed of parent representatives from each sport and is governed by an Executive Board, with representation from over 28 different sports teams.

All donations to the Algonquin Athletic Boosters Club are tax-exempt.
